Congratulations are in order, it seems.
Just like her big sister, Kate, Pippa Middleton (Matthews) is now officially a mum of three.
Pippa, who only debuted her third baby bump last month during Queen Elizabeth’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations, reportedly welcomed her third child a couple of weeks back.
According to Harper’s Bazaar, Pippa and her husband, James Matthews have welcomed another daughter – but a name is yet to be revealed.
The couple, who married in May 2017, welcomed son Arthur Michael William Matthews in October 2018, and daughter Grace Elizabeth Jane Matthews in March 2021. Both Arthur and Grace were born in the Lindo Wing of St. Mary’s Hospital, where Pippa’s sister Kate also had all three of her children.
The arrival of the latest baby Matthews makes Carole and Michael Middleton now grandparents of six.
Last year, Carole opened up about being a grandmother, telling Good Housekeeping UK:
“I want to run down the hills, climb the trees and go through the tunnel at the playground. As long as I am able to, that’s what I’ll be doing. I cook with them, I muck around dancing, we go on bike rides.”
In addition to having another baby, Pippa has been very busy lately. In early July, the 38-year-old obtained her master’s degree from the Physical Education, Sport and Physical Literacy program at the University of Wales Trinity Saint David, and will present her research this fall in Luxembourg.
“I am passionate about sport and exercise and also love being with children,” she said in a statement.
“I wanted to find a topic that combined these two and felt that there wasn’t enough information, knowledge or focus on early years physical development for mums particularly. I wanted to learn to not only help my own children but to also continue work in the field to stress the importance of children moving from an early age.”
