Bride and groom spark controversy with ‘not invited’ cards

This is one bad move from the bride and groom

A soon-to-be bride and groom have sparked controversy online after sending ‘not invited’ cards to some family members.

The brazen move was revealed by one of their relatives on Reddit.

They explained that their cousin is planning a small garden wedding but it’s a destination wedding. It’s around five hours away from where their relatives live so they’re keeping their guest list small.

Having a small wedding is completely normal and increasingly common, but the pair wanted to ensure guests knew who was and wasn’t invited…

“I just found out that the wedding couple is sending “cards” to people that are not invited that they are getting married soon and “you are in our hearts on this special day” BEFORE the wedding.

“Their excuse is for the sake of “curiosity and thinking of them”. But what I don’t understand is why send this BEFORE the wedding. It would make more sense AFTER and send it out to them.”

The couple are also expecting their guests to set up following the ceremony.

They’ve also asked them to help with photography and the reception.

“Where is the respect, etiquette and morals. They said that financially they can’t hire people to set up but they had almost 2 years to save what did they do to save? They went travelling instead of saving for the wedding,” the user added.

Is the bride and groom being unfair?
