Caroline Flack took to Instagram last night to share a few late night thoughts.

The 40-year-old host revealed that she’s going through the “worst time of her life” after quitting her Love Island gig over recent assault charges.

Speaking online the star said she’s now suffering from trust issues and a lack of direction.

“This is the worst time of my life. I don’t kno where to go. Where to look. Who to trust. Or who I even am,” the ITV presenter revealed in the now deleted post.

It is reported that Caroline is set to head away shortly on a retreat to Thailand at a well-known celebrity spot to deal with her stressful issues.

Flack was arrested and charged with assault last week following an altercation with boyfriend Lewis Burton.

She is set to appear in court today, December 23 and decided it was best to take some time out of the spotlight while dealing with the circumstances of the charges.

“There have been a significant number of media reports and allegations in regards to my personal life,” she said.

“While matters were not as have been reported, I am committed to cooperating with the appropriate authorities and I can’t comment further on these matters until the legal process is over.”

Laura Whitmore will take over Caroline’s place on the show as it’s set to air next month. She will join her boyfriend, Iain Stirling as the presenting duo and face of the show.
