Celine Dion has revealed that sharing a ‘huge’ bed with her twin six-year-olds is helping the family process the loss of her husband Rene, who passed away in January.

In a rare interview with The Sun, the singer (49) said that being close to her youngest boys, Nelson and Eddy, is helping her come to terms with the loss of Rene, who fought a long battle with throat cancer before his passing, aged 79.

‘I organise myself to not feel lonely,’ she explained.

‘So I got myself a huge, huge, huge bed and I sleep with my twins. They are comforting me a lot. I need them close.’

‘When it’s time for them to say they want their room, their room’s ready. But we watch a lot of TV together. I’m discovering Disney.’

The performer, who is also mum to eldest son Rene-Charles Angelil, said she and her sons communicate with Rene daily and at bedtime she reminds them ‘Papa is in your heart’.

“I said, ‘I’m fine, the kids are fine, OK, everything is going to be OK. You taught me, you taught me well. I’m going to use it’.

“And that’s what I do every day — so Rene will never die.” she added.
