Chris Pine said he would love to star in The Princess Diaries 3.
All we want is a third Princess Diaries movie, but will it ever happen?
Chris Pine hopes so. The actor said he will happily return as Nicholas Devereaux.
The actor told Entertainment Tonight that he’d happily star in a third movie.
He shared, “Yeah, I’m here! I’m here for it. Give me give me a phone call or an email.”

“I would more than entertain it, I’m pulling for it,” he added.
However, the odds of the movie happening in the near future are not strong.
Anne Hathaway wants it to happen.
Anne Hathaway previously opened up about the third installment and said fans could be waiting years for the film to be released.
She told People, “We feel the exact same, and I know it’s probably very frustrating.
The One Day actress also said the movie can’t happen without Julie Andrews.
“If there’s any way to get Julie Andrews involved, I think we would make it work. We would go to where she was and put a green screen behind her and just make it happen.”
As hopeful as Chris Pine and Anne Hathaway are, Julie Andrews doesn’t think the film will happen.
Last year, The Hollywood Reporter claimed a third movie was in the works at Disney, but Andrews said she can’t see it happening.
She told Access Hollywood, “I think we know that it’s probably not going to be possible.”
