She dedicated it to her twins.

Christine McGuinness, wife of comedian and Take Me Out host Paddy McGuinness, made a very sweet tribute to her beautiful 4-year-old twins yesterday.

Christine wrote a heartfelt poem which she posted to Instagram, telling us just how precious her babies are to her as she opened up for the first time about how they have autism. She said,

“Today you both turn four, and I celebrate so much more. In the last 12 months, you have to learned to talk, and you are using flat feet to walk…”

“You are conquering your daily challenges, and I’m here to hold your hand, when you’re dealing with sensory overload, the quietest room sounds like a big brass band…”

“I love you unconditionally, and I will encourage you both to embrace your autism because you are totally unique and fantastically awesome.”

Christine who is also mum to 10-month-old Felicity posted a delightful picture of a little cupcake with a giant ‘4’ candle glowing on top.

It’s clear the twins Leo and Penelope have made a significant and beautiful difference to their mum Christine who also made a statement that we’re sure plenty of mums can relate to.

“You changed my life forever, swapping my stilettos for slippers and discovering a patience I didn’t know I had. I love you both more than you will ever know.”
