That amounts to an incredible 236 episodes!.
Netflix had earlier hinted at the move - with Twitter responding accordingly.
For those who might need a brush-up: the famous sitcom was a huge global hit when it aired from 1994 to 2002.
It follows the misadventures of six 20-something mates as they navigate work, life, and love in 1990s Manhattan.
The series made massive stars out of the main characters - who were played by Jennifer Aniston, Courtney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc, Matthew Perry and David Schwimmer.
Two years ago, to mark its 21st birthday, Comedy Central held a FriendsFest - a week-long festival that ran from September 16-20 in London.
As part of the festival, a full scale set of Monica's apartment was installed in Brick Lane's The Boiler House. There was also a Central Perk inspired coffee shop and an exhibition of original props and memorabilia from Los Angeles.
Speaking about the event at the time, Comedy Central said: "Friends is hugely popular, with almost 5.9 million people tuning in to watch it on Comedy Central each month."
