Damian Lewis and Alison Mosshart have confirmed their new romance.
The couple has attended multiple high-profile events together this week, including a party at a private member's club.
It is believed the couple met through mutual friends.
Alison's mother Vivian told the Daily Mail that she is looking forward to meeting her daughter's new partner.
She said, "I don't know how much flak I'm going to get for all of this but of course, we are excited for her.”
"They have mutual friends. I don't know exactly how they met but I'm fine with it. If she's happy, we are happy."
"I'm yet to meet him but certainly I'd like to," she added.
The Homeland actor was left heartbroken after the death of his wife Helen McCrory last year.
The Harry Potter actress died from breast cancer in April 2021.
Lewis announced his wife's death in a heartbreaking statement on Twitter.
"The beautiful and mighty woman that is Helen McCrory has died peacefully as home, surrounded by a wave of love from friends and family," he shared.
"She died as she lived. Fearlessly. God we love her and know how lucky we are to have had her in our lives. She blazed so brightly. Go now, Little One, into the air, and thank you."
Before her death, Helen told her husband to pursue relationships after she is gone.
"She said to us from her bed, 'I want Daddy to have girlfriends, lots of them, you must all love again, love isn't possessive, but you know, Damian, try at least to get through the funeral without snogging anyone."
Lewis married McCrory in 2007. The pair welcomed two children together- daughter Manon and son Gulliver.
