Danish home retail brand JYSK to open 15 stores in Ireland

Buying a new home or looking to revamp the current one?

Because Danish home retail brand, JYSK, could be just what you need to make your house a home. The retailer confirmed that 2019 is the year they open their first Irish store with the hopes of having 15 stores here by 2021, creating 200 new jobs.

The stores and products avaialbe run along the same vein as IKEA, with a similar price point, minimalistic designs and a smart look – we know JYSK will be a big hit here once it opens and will provide some healthy competition for Scandinavian homeware giant.

Stocking everything from mattresses to wall paints, desks to cushions and candles, the first store will open in Naas this April, with a further two stores opening in Navan and Drogheda in May, reads reports.

The last known store opening for 2019 will be in Portlaoise, opening in summer.
