David Beckham delivered quite the moving speech at his son Brooklyn’s wedding.
The eldest of Beckham’s children married Nicola Peltz on Saturday, April 9th at her Palm Beach mansion.
During the celebrations, David gave a speech that centred around just how special his family is to him.
He couldn’t help but gush about his 23-year-old son and how far he has come.
According to sources, the dad’s speech was pretty lengthy and lasted for about five minutes.
The football star spoke about his family and what an incredible mother Victoria is.
People said Beckham “spoke about Brooklyn being born, their family life and how great of a mom Victoria is”.
He also got emotional when talking about his eldest son.
Sources say David was pretty emotional and teary-eyed when delivering his speech.
A source told The Sun, “He was talking about when Brooklyn was born and how he wanted to protect him.
“He said he was sleeping on the hospital floor, holding the door shut because he didn’t want to let anyone get in.
“David got a lump in his throat and had to stop and take a breather to regain his composure, but it was a very sweet speech.”
Following their wedding celebrations, David gifted the couple a £500,000 vintage car.
