The mother-of-five found was diagnosed with terminal cancer earlier this year and on Wednesday revealed that it had spread to her brain. Last week Ms Mhic Mhathuna settled a legal action for €7.5 million after she was given false smear test results, but I can't imagine it's of any comfort to the young mother who would rather have more time with her children. Investigations into the false test results are still ongoing but for the families affected, the damage is already done.
