Nicky Byrne's replacement for Dancing with the Stars has been revealed, and it's none other than radio presenter Doireann Garrihy.
Garrihy will host the hugely popular show alongside Jennifer Zamperelli once it makes its return in the new year.
In a statement to
RTÉ, Doireann described the new gig as a "dream come true".
"I am ecstatic to be joining the Dancing with the Stars family," she said. "The glitziest gang in town! This is a dream come true for me. I cannot wait to get going with the team. I never thought I’d say this but roll on the month of January!"
Her future co-host is also excited for Doireann to be joining the DWTS family.
She said: "I’m really excited to welcome my 2FM pal, Doireann as my new co-host on the show. I predict a lot of fun and a lot of laughs! It's shaping up to be a new great series."
Doireann also shared her news by posting a photo on Instagram.

In her caption, she wrote: "If I had to keep this secret to myself for ONE more day I might have burst," she wrote. "Dancing With The Stars Here I Come. Roll on January."
Doireann was met with messages of congratulations in the comments section.
Erica Cody, who competed in the season last year, wrote: "Well done Doireann! Delighted for you."
Former Miss Ireland Pamela Ashley Uba wrote: "Yesssss girl (...) big congratulations."
Other stars to offer their well-wishes included Greg O'Shea, Angela Scanlon, Charlene McKenna, and Amy Huberman.
Dancing with the Stars returns to our screens in January, with 11 celebrities competing for the much-coveted glitter ball trophy.
Last year, Nina Carberry and her partner Pasquale La Rocca won the series, making La Rocca the only professional dancer to win the show more than once.
