Don’t leave the house without an umbrella – Met Éireann predict a day of mixed weather

It’s that time of the year again.

Sunny one minute, bucketing rain the next.

After a mixed weekend which saw downpours of rain and warm sunshine, Met Éireann predicts today will follow suit with patchy rain and warmer temperatures ranging from 14 – 16 degrees.

According to the meteorologists, they noted that rain will gradually clear this morning with sunny spells following from the west.

Later on, showers will develop in the west and northwest, these will spread eastwards and become more widespread this afternoon and evening.

Highest temperatures of 14 to 16 degrees with moderate to fresh, gusty southwest winds.

Tonight, the mixed weather will continue with clear spells, showers and some heavy rain, especially over the western half of the country.

Lowest temperatures of 8 to 10 degrees with moderate to fresh, gusty southwest winds.

Tomorrow, expect spots of sunshine accompained with heavy and in some parts thundery rain.

Highest temperatures of 11 to 14 degrees.
