Dublin airport shared eerie footage during the height of the blizzard last night

Scary stuff.

Madness.

Today Met Éireann announced that the status red warning is now in place until 6pm across Munster, Leinster and Galway.

And although this is in place, we have been told that the height of the blizzard has now “passed” through Ireland, the advice to stay indoors has been withdrawn and we are to start seeing improvements from this evening onwards.

However, last night, in the height of the blizzard, Dublin Airport shared some eerie footage of just how bad the snow storm was throughout the grounds of the airport.

Scary stuff.

They also then shared this video of the teams working hard last night in an effort to clear the runways and taxi lanes to get the airport back up and running.

All flights in and out of Dublin airport have been suspended until Saturday morning and you can receive more information and help via the link in this tweet.
