Thinking of heading to the flicks?

Then why not head to the fab Stella Theatre in Rathmines, Dublin. The newly revamped cinema has a 1920s-esque feel and on the weekends it serves brunch and drinks right to your seat. IDEAL.

The Stella Theatre which originally first opened its doors in 1923 and now since re-opening late last year, it has become a firm favourite spot amongst all ages.

Each seat has an ottoman which is there for tired legs to stretch out on and take a rest. There are also cashmere blankets for an extra cosy feel.

Of course, watching movies in this place is going to cost you a little more… standard tickets are €19 and kids can go to their movies at the weekends for just €8 – and seriously worth it for the experience.
