So much to do!

Dundrum Town Centre has just announced that they will be hosting a family friendly activation at the Centre on St. Patrick’s Day.

This is the first time in three years that the Centre has been able to mark the occasion and this year it will be bigger and better than ever before.

At 12 noon on St Patrick’s Day, award winning modern Irish dance troupe Slide Step will perform the evolution of Irish dance from old style Irish dance to brush and contemporary Irish dance.

They will also be looking to get the audience involved in a céilí so make sure to bring your dancing shoes!

At 2pm The Miss Ali Stage School will be staging an exclusive St. Patrick’s Day performance, displaying dancing, singing and poetry reading.

There will also be some solo performances with songs from Ireland’s best-known musicals and a dance spectacle with Irish notes.

Later that day at 4pm to 6pm, the new Irish folk band Ceol, formed by Irish country music singer Nathan Carter will take to the stage.

Ceol take inspiration from The Dubliners, The Chieftains, Mumford and Sons and many other great Irish and International artists.

Their aim is to bring folk music to a new generation so make sure to check them out at the stage on Town Square.

Dundrum Town Centre will also have St. Patrick’s Day themed face painting taking place at Town Square from 1-4pm and make sure to keep your eyes peeled for St. Patrick who will be making an appearance at the Centre throughout the afternoon.

From the looks of it the St. Patrick’s Day activation at the Centre is set to be the ultimate family day out this March, with live entertainment that all ages will enjoy in a safe and controlled outdoor environment.
