Comedian Aisling Bea recently welcomed her first child in September
In true Aisling fashion, she made the announcement hilarious with a little help from her famous friends, including Paul Rudd and NFL star Travis Kelce.
Aisling most recently shared playful photos of her newborn meeting a host of celebrity “uncles” and “aunties”.
She added a potato emoji to cover her baby’s face, and captioned the post: “Funcles, Guncles, and Fire Aunts.
“The reviews for the baby are IN! ‘A must see,’ ‘I couldn’t put it down.’
She also jokingly warned her followers: “Please don’t say my baby looks like a potato, that is HIGHLY offensive towards Irish people. Especially as she has my eyes.”
In the series of snaps, her newborn was cradled by a range of famous faces.
Comedians Nish Kumar and Jason Mantzoukas, TV writer Brona C. Titley, and actor Kadiff Kirwan all got the chance to meet the new arrival.
Aisling also shared a sweet moment with Normal People actor India Mullen, who was all smiles holding the little one, and actor Rob Delaney, who was also treated to a visit.
Aisling initially announced her baby’s arrival in her own unique way.
In a social media post, she jokingly reminisced about one of the most memorable moments from her labour experience:
“The best thing that happened to me last month was being given this crisp after 11 hours of not eating or drinking anything during a heatwave. It was such a special crisp and moment and one I’ll never forget.
”She went on to clarify that, sadly, the crisp wasn’t from the beloved Irish brand Tayto, but “a very run-of-the-mill ready salted mid-brand that gave me faith in the average joe of crisps.
“We can all be heroes, even just for one day.”
