A source close to the singer told People that she "hopes she will be able to see her boys more now" as she "blames" Jamie Spears for not getting to see them as much over the past two years. In August 2019, Jamie was allegedly involved in an altercation with Britney's eldest son, now-16-year-old Sean Preston. The 69-year-old was then put under a restraining order that stopped him from seeing the teen and his brother Jayden James, now 15. Kevin's attorney, Mark Vincent Kaplan, said that since Jamie was suspended from the conservatorship last week, the boys – who primarily live with their dad — should "be able to benefit from the removal of stress from her life so that they have their mom at her best."
