‘Nailing motherhood’ – Charlotte Crosby stands up to mum-shamers

Charlotte Crosby has done something all mums should do by taking pride in her abilities as a mother.

While the former Geordie Shore star says she is no longer mum-shamed, there was a time when this was an issue.

The new mum, who gave birth to her daughter Alba last year, revealed that people were quick to criticise her in the early days of motherhood.

However, she believes that is something they ‘wouldn’t dare’ do now.

“The only time I ever felt this was at the very beginning when I had Alba, I was putting some scoops of formula in a container because I was doing a video for a bottle company,” Charlotte told The Sun.

“I got loads of hate on that video because I didn’t level the scoops. But I wasn’t making a bottle, I was just showing how you put formula in the container. Because I was very new, it was the first month having Alba, so I got upset and cried about it.”

The reality TV star, who is engaged to Jake Ankers, says her confidence in the role has gone from strength to strength.

“Now, I am so confident in my parenting, it feels like the job I was meant to do my whole life.

“I don’t think people would dare mam shame us. I am so confident about my parenting skills, I have never had any mam shaming ever since.

“I honestly think it’s because people look at me and think there is no point in questioning Charlotte because she is nailing it.”

No mum should ever be subjected to any mum-shaming, but we are absolutely loving Charlotte’s ability to celebrate her wins as a mum.
