Life in Colour explores the crucial role colour has in nature, from animals using it to shield themselves from view or to make themselves look attractive to a potential mate, colour is truly all around us and sometimes we can't even see it! In true Attenborough fashion, the documentary is breaking ground with new technology being created specifically for this project, speaking in the official trailer Sir David explained, "To understand how these colours work we need to see them from an animal's perspective. With new cameras developed especially for this series, now we can." He continues, "We will reveal a world that has long been hidden from our eyes. Colours so bold and brilliant they dazzle our senses." The cameras, developed specifically for this documentary will allow us to see colours and patterns usually invisible to human eyes. And believe us, it's certainly dazzling, from magnificent peacocks to tiny hummingbirds and powerful baboons, it's a veritable feast of colours from start to finish and perfect Earth Day viewing. David Attenborough, Life in Colour, is available to watch on Netflix from Thursday 22nd April.Sir David Attenborough is back with a new nature documentary that will make you see animals in a whole new light.
