Baby Giorgio was named after Roberto’s father
Italian designer, Roberto Cavalli became a dad for the sixth time at age 82 last week.
He welcomed baby Giorgio with Swedish model girlfriend Sandra Nilsson, 37 who he has been dating since 2014.
Cavalli is expected to be worth over $400 million and has dressed some of the biggest models and personalities in the world including Kim Kardashian, Bella Hadid and Jennifer Lopez.
He has five other children from two previous marriages but his newest addition to the family was born in Florence and was named Giorgio after Roberto’s father.
Roberto’s father was shot by Nazis during the World War 2 so it is very special to name his child after his father.
He told Novella 2000 magazine: “The baby is beautiful and it was really emotional to see him right after he was born. Sandra is doing fine.
“His name is Giorgio, like his grandfather, my father, whom the Nazis shot in the Cavriglia massacre when I was four years old.”

In 2015, Roberto reportedly bought girlfriend Sandra a private island in her home country of Sweden called Stora Rullingen.
It’s said to be a stunning €2.2 million island off the cost of Strängnäs, around 50 miles east of Stockholm – sounds gorg!
Baby Giorgio joins Tommaso and Cristina from Roberto’s first marriage to Silvanella Giannoni, who he married in 1964 before divorcing ten years later.
His other three kids are Robert, Rachele and Daniele from his second marriage to former Miss Europe model, Eva Maria Duringe.
