Kat O'Connor

Hannah Hawkins sadly passed away aged 33.

Tributes have been pouring in following the death of ITV producer, Hannah Hawkins.

The mum sadly died just months after she gave birth to a baby boy.

Hannah was diagnosed with triple-negative breast cancer in 2020 but was given the all-clear after undergoing chemotherapy.

Sadly, just days before giving birth to her baby boy, Rory, the mum was told her cancer had returned.

Hannah sadly died from the illness on November 3rd. Her husband confirmed the news in a heartbreaking post on Instagram.

He said Hannah will forever be remembered for the loving person she was.

Tom said Hannah was grateful for the life she lived, even though it was cut so short.

“The remarkable person that you were, the phrase you used so many times over the last few weeks – and it set me off every time; ‘I’m so at peace with the life I’ve lived’ is something we can all admire. The fact that right until the end you were putting others’ feelings first and making us all laugh was just you to a tee.”

Tom said Hannah was the type of person who always made friends so easily because she was such a loving person.

He said he hopes their son, who was born in August, knows what an incredible person she was.

“I want him to know that you were someone who could walk into a room of strangers and come out having made friends for life, and that our social calendar was always so full we physically couldn’t fit in everyone we wanted to see.”

“I also want him to know the bravery you showed every day, facing anything life threw at you with the strength of a warrior, a smile on your face, and laughter in your eyes.”

Hannah worked as a producer on the Lorraine show before her untimely passing.

The presenter led the tributes this morning and said she was taken “too young and too soon”.

She said the producer was “amazing and a much-loved member of our team”.

She is survived by her husband, Tom, and their son, Rory.
