"You’re always doubting if you’re doing the right thing or not."
Joe Swash has opened up about becoming a dad for the third time, admitting he still doubts himself as a parent.
The former Eastenders star is set to welcome his first daughter with fiancée Stacey Solomon, with whom he shares 1-year-old son Rex.
Joe, who is also dad to 13-year-old son Harry and stepdad to Stacey's sons Zachary, 12, and Leighton, 9, revealed in a
new interview that he's still learning about parenting.
"I’d say to any new parent out there that there’s no book to follow," he said. "There’s no right or wrong answers or right or wrong way of doing it.
"As a parent, you’re always doubting yourself. You’re always doubting if you’re doing the right thing or not. But you’ve just got to sort of go with your gut."

The actor and presenter added that regardless of other people's opinions and judgement, you have to stick with what feels right for your family and what works for your kids.
"People are always going to judge and people are always going to have their own opinions on parenting and how to raise a child," he continued. "But as long as you love your kids unconditionally and as long as they know you would do anything for them, then that’s the most important thing.
"I still doubt myself, but that’s only normal. And it’s normal to feel a little overwhelmed sometimes.”
The 39-year-old previously told the Mirror of his excitement to welcome a baby girl into their family of boys, saying finding out the baby's gender was a "magical moment."

"Me and Stacey have both experienced having children before we met each other and to share the experience of having our first girl together is just so exciting," he said.
"It's going to be a total gear change from having boys and wanting to wrestle and fight you all the time."
Joe added he has been practicing hairstyles for when she's older, and that all of the boys are thrilled to be welcoming a sister.
"Our house is going to be a little bit calmer hopefully with a little girl. The boys are beyond excited about having a little sister finally.
"She's going to be so well looked after. She's going to have four big brothers that are going to be doting on her."
