“You vicious, empty people are a dying breed”
Strictly Come Dancing star John Whaite has responded to cruel trolls who said the show is a fix.
The Bake Off winner has been a firm fan favourite since the beginning of the show.
But unfortunately, that hasn’t stopped cruel trolls from targeting John and his dance partner Johannes.
John and Johannes are Strictly’s first same-sex male couple. Seeing the couple dance together has helped so many people in the LGBTQ+ community. John previously said seeing two men dancing together would have helped him when he was young.
Alongside a photo of him and Johannes performing on Saturday’s show, the baker said the cruel trolls are a “dying breed”.
John said people think the show is “fixed” and “woke”.

Others claimed it was “not natural”, “box-ticking” and even said they wouldn’t be watching the final because of them.
“You vicious, empty people are a dying breed.
“You’ll be left behind as the world becomes kinder, more empathic, more loving, more tolerant, more understanding,” John said.
“The only grievance you should feel is your own failure to evolve,” he stressed.
John praised his professional dance partner after they reached the Strictly final.
“The fact that I am in the final with my partner, my teacher, my dear friend Johannes means more than you can imagine.
“Because it shows that the world is becoming a better place, where love is seemingly and hopefully beginning to outweigh hate,” he said.
John praised his supporters for proving that there is more love than hate.
“Thank you all for such heart-felt messages of kindness. The love has far outweighed the hate and I’ll never forget that.”
