“Everyone was vaping and smoking”
Katherine Ryan has spoken out about her negative experience at Disneyland Paris.
After the comedian took her family to the magical theme park, she was left disappointed by several aspects of her trip.
In particular, the mum-of-three says she was less than impressed by the lack of Disney characters at the park, as well as the amount of vaping and smoking in such a child-focused location.
Last month, Katherine visited the self-titled ‘Happiest Place On Earth” with her husband, Bobby Kootstra, and children Violet, 14, Fred, 2, and Fenna, 1.
Speaking to the Daily Mail, she labelled the park’s Disney Village a ‘trash high street’.
“‘Everyone was vaping and smoking actual cigarettes whilst pushing a buggy or holding a child’s hand. I’ve never seen so much vaping in my life,” the TV personality told the outlet while also slamming the park’s empty atmosphere.
“I asked, ‘Where are all the characters?’ It seemed very barren. We saw Jessie [from Toy Story] and the chipmunks and that was it.”
“When I took my daughter Violet there in 2011, there were loads of characters,” Katherine added before saying: “I did not have a nice time.”
Meanwhile, it seems the mum enjoyed the holidays regardless of a disappointing trip to Disneyland as she shared sweet snaps for her youngest’s child’s first birthday just before Christmas.
The media star also shared a glimpse of the New Year’s celebrations she had with her loved ones.
