Kourtney Kardashian revealed that her son had fluid in his lungs, meaning they needed to do an emergency surgery to save his life.
The fluid build-up was caused by a rare condition and Kardashian said they were lucky to catch it on time.
Last September the reality star took to Instagram to share the news with a picture of her in the hospital.
"As someone who has had three really easy pregnancies in the past, I wasn't prepared for the fear of rushing into urgent foetal surgery...I have a whole new understanding and respect for the mamas who have had to fight for their babies while pregnant," she said in her caption.
In the latest episode of The Kardashians, she went into further detail about the "terrifying scare."
She revealed that after the successful surgery, the fluid did return.
However, she praised the "power of power of positive thinking", which she had learned about in a documentary called Heal.
"I started talking to the baby every day, saying my prayers. After I had that mindset shift, the fluid was completely gone and we had not one single problem after," she said.
Kardashian also thanked her husband Travis Barker for his constant support. As the drummer of Blink 182, he was in the middle of an international tour when he rushed back to the States for her surgery.
The couple welcomed Rocky 13 on November 1st 2023.
