Kourtney Kardashian and her husband Travis Barker recently welcomed their first child together; a son named Rocky Thirteen.
The Eldest Kardashian has been through three pregnancies before, but it is being reported that her fourth has been the ‘scariest’ one.
A source told US Weekly that Kourtney and her husband were ‘very nervous’ towards the end of her pregnancy.
However, the ‘Poosh’ founder was reportedly comforted by the Blink-182 drummer’s presence and is overjoyed since welcoming their son safely.
“Travis was right by her side supporting her. Both parents are feeling so very blessed to be new parents and are so grateful that Rocky Thirteen Barker is in this world,” the source said.
Kourtney underwent emergency fetal surgery in September that saved her son’s life following complications with her pregnancy.
Thankfully, the couple is now said to be doing ‘amazing’ since bringing baby Rocky home.
“They stayed in the hospital a few extra days because they wanted to play it extra safe after their health scare this summer.”
The source added that the new parents are ‘so protective’ of him, only allowing a select few to come to see him.
“They haven’t let many people come around the baby and are remaining fairly isolated at home. Of course, the family has seen him and they think he’s absolutely perfect.
“All the kids are so excited to have a little brother, and they’re taking turns helping Kourtney and Travis out any way they can. They’re so happy to be home where they can enjoy their privacy and just celebrate this new chapter. It’s a very happy time, and they feel beyond blessed.”
Rocky joins a blended family as the couple are already parents to six children between them.
Kourtney shares Reign, 8, and Mason, 13, and Penelope, 11, with ex Scott Disick, while Barker is already a father to son Landon, 20, daughter Alabama, 17, and stepdaughter Atiana De La Hoya, 24, with his ex-wife Shanna Moakler.
