Lisa McHugh has confirmed her daughter has been discharged from hospital
Singer Lisa McHugh has announced her baby girl has finally been discharged from hospital after she contracted RSV.
She said they feel so relieved to have their little one back home after 10 scary days in the hospital.
She told her Instagram followers, ” We are so grateful to have Hallie home and well again after a very long and scary 10 days in hospital. Her big brother missed her so much.”
She praised her followers for being so kind and supportive during such an upsetting time.
“We can’t thank all of you enough for your kind messages & prayers over the last couple of weeks,” she wrote.
“We are also incredibly grateful to all of the nurses & doctors in The SWAH who couldn’t have cared for Hallie any better the whole time, they are all amazing and we’re so thankful to each of them,” she added.
The mum-of-two said they’ll be focusing on spending a lot of quality time together going forward.
“Lots of quality family time now is what life will consist of for a while,” she gushed.
Earlier this month, Lisa said it’s incredibly hard to see your child in hospital.
“She’s had the toughest and most heartbreaking few days in hospital. I can’t describe how horrendous it has been to watch her so weak & in so much pain and being unable to take that pain away,” she said.
“I can safely say I will not be afraid to speak up and protect my babies in the future if we’re ever in the position instead of protecting someone else’s feelings.
“You have every right to speak up to protect your baby from illness,” she said.
