Love Island star Laura Anderson has given birth to her first child.
The reality star announced the arrival of her baby girl on Instagram last night but revealed she gave birth on September 2nd.
Laura explained that she needed to take some time away from social media following her daughter’s birth.
In the post, she said her baby girl “hurt her a little bit” and also “scared” her dad Gary Lucy. Fans praised Laura for returning to social media after what sounds like a very difficult birth.
The mum gave birth to her beautiful baby girl at 6. 03 a.m. She weighed 6lbs 10oz, Laura revealed.
She also revealed her baby’s beautiful and surprisingly traditional name- Bonnie.
The name Bonnie is of Scottish origin and means ‘pretty’.
Alongside a series of photos from Bonnie’s birth and her first days, Laura wrote:

“Hi everyone, my name is Bonnie Rose Lucy Anderson. I was born 02/09/23 at 06.03 am and weighed 6.10lbs.”
“My Mummy & Daddy are sooooo happy and in love with me, this is our first week together,” she continued.
Laura confirmed both she and the baby are doing well following the birth. They are also now recovering at home.
“I’m sorry it’s taken me some time to introduce myself, I hurt my mummy a little bit and scared my daddy too (oops) we’re all now recovering well at home.”
The Love Island star also urged her followers not to speculate about her relationship with her baby’s father Gary Lucy.
The actor and reality star have been on/off for some time, but they have not commented on their current relationship status.
“Please don’t question My Mummy and daddy on their relationship- This.. is all about me,” Laura added.
