Molly-Mae Hague has a unique parenting technique for 11-month-old Bambi

In her latest video posted on her YouTube channel, the former Love Island star spoke about all things parenting and celebrating her daughter’s upcoming first birthday.

While speaking Molly-Mae started to hear little Bambi cry on the baby monitor before she reassured fans, “She’s OK, by the way.

“I know this seems… like some people don’t like to leave their babies to cry, but right now she’s more just sort of grizzling and this is her self-settling.”

The mum of one added. “This feels really weird that I’m sharing this but this is totally normal.

“She does this every single time I put her down, she’ll roll about in her cot a bit, she’ll stand up, she’ll cry a little bit and literally five minutes later she’ll just fall asleep.”

After her daughter finally settled and drifted off, Molly-Mae said “It sounds horrible” but the method in question has been getting her little one to sleep.

“No one wants to leave their baby to cry, but sometimes you have to because now she’s basically asleep,” she continued.

“That’s just how it works for us, personally.”

Molly-Mae and her other half Tommy Fury have just come home after jetting off on a luxury holiday to the Maldives and Dubai.

The 24-year-old found herself under fire when some fans copped that she didn’t put a hat on Bambi to prevent sunburn.

Molly explained her decision in the vlog saying, “I will add so many comments I get about, ‘you don’t put a sun hat on Bambi, you don’t put a hat on her, you expose her to the sun.’

“I’d like to know, how any mother is putting a hat on their 11-month-old? I physically don’t understand it.

“Even one with a string underneath or like a tie. She will get so upset when I put one on her, and just cry and cry and cry until I take it off.

“So yes this trip we have experienced the hat tantrums.”
