Nick Cannon has shared how expensive a family trip can be when you have 12 children.
The TV host, 43, has revealed that he takes his kids to Disneyland at least once a month to mark and celebrate all of the special occasions in their lives, such as birthdays and holidays.
While appearing on New York City’s ‘The Breakfast Club’ radio show, the dad-of-twelve revealed just how hefty a price tag this trip can cost him.
“Do you know how much money I spend at Disneyland a year?” Cannon said, directing his question to the radio hosts, per the Daily Mail.
“A lot,” one replied, to which Nick said: “To move around Disney, like, I’m probably spending $200,000 (€233,409.77) a year at Disneyland.”
And it’s not just the base tickets and the theme park itself ‘The Masked Singer’ host has to consider; much of this money is spent on hotel rooms for the kids, a chaperone to take them around Disneyland, and any extra add-ons.
“Disneyland is expensive already off [the] top if [you’re] trying to stay in the hotel,” Cannon explained. “It’s not how it used to be. You gotta make reservations.”
In the past, Nick says, he would host the Christmas morning parade at Disneyland, which would result in free tickets – something which is no longer the case.
“It’s no longer free, and I only had two kids then,” Cannon said, about his twins, who he shares with Mariah Carey, Monroe and Moroccan, both 12.
He has since welcomed several more children and is now also a proud dad to sons Golden Sagon, 6, and Rise Messiah Cannon, 15 months, and daughter Powerful Queen, 2, whom he welcomed with Brittany Bell.
Nick shares another set of twins with Abby De La Rose; Zion Mixolydian and Zillion Heir, both 2, as well as daughter Beautiful Zeppelin, 12 months.
The TV host has one child with LaNisha Cole, a daughter named Onyx Ice Cole aged 14 months, as well as one son with Bre Tiesi, a son named Legendary Love, 16 months.
Nick also shares two children with Alyssa Scott – a son named Zen, who sadly passed away at 5 months old in December 2021 from brain cancer, and a daughter named Halo Marie Cannon, who turns one this month.
While the comedian adores every one of his children, he has been honest about the challenges that come with raising multiple kids.
“Being a father of multiple kids, it’s always the biggest guilt on me is that I don’t get to spend enough time with all my children,” Cannon shared during an episode of ‘The Checkup with Dr. Agus.'”
“One ’cause I’m constantly working and two because I’m just spread thin.”
