Yes, you read that correctly, after 40 long years, Agnetha, Björn, Benny and Anni-Ford are back! The beloved band have reunited for their brand new studio album, Voyage, which you can pre-order from their official store right now. They will then perform the album at a digital concert from a purpose-built arena in London on 27 May 2022. In a statement the band said: "It's been a while since we made music together. Almost 40 years, actually. "We took a break in the spring of 1982 and now we decided it's time to end it. They say it's foolhardy to wait more than 40 years between albums, so we've recorded a follow-up to 'The Visitors'." They added that their new music, and the accompanying concert will be "weird and wonderful". ABBA added: "To all of you who patiently have followed us in some way or another these past decades: Thank you for waiting. It's time for a new journey to begin. "We simply call it 'Voyage' and we're truly sailing in uncharted waters. With the help of our younger selves, we travel into the future. It's not easy to explain but then it hasn't been done before." Voyage is a long time in the making - the group spent months working with motion-capture and performance techniques to deliver the showstopping spectacle.
