Rachel Gorry lost her beloved husband Daniel in 2020
Influencer, Rachel Gorry has penned a heartbreaking tribute to her husband on his fourth anniversary.
Rachel’s husband Daniel sadly died from oesophageal cancer in 2020. He was just 29 years old.
Alongside a montage of memories together, Rachel said April 1st was the worst day of her life because she lost Daniel.
“Another year has come and gone. Loved and missed more than you will ever know,” the mum-of-three wrote.
She continued: “The 1st of April the worst day of my life losing you. The day I dread every year, having to smile and put a brave face on for our girls, who are so excited for today they want to get a cake.”
The mum said she and her daughters will celebrate Daniel “as if it was your birthday”.
She said he would have been so proud of his daughters if he was still here today.
The mum shared: “You’d be so proud of them they have gotten so big and so beautiful, they remind me of you every day in so many different ways.
“I know you were afraid Hannah would forget you because she was so small when you passed but she talks about you every day the stories she tells me about her daddy she’s so funny!”
Rachel promised that they would never forget about Daniel.
“Your memory will never die I promise. I can’t tell you how much we love and miss you. If love could have saved you, you would have lived forever,” the influencer added.
Rachel’s followers showered her with loving and supportive messages following the harrowing post.
