Singer and make-up mogul Rihanna gave birth to her second child a month ago but kept her baby’s name under wraps until now.
The singer has finally revealed the name of her baby boy and it’s pretty unusual.
The Fenty Beauty found and A$AP Rocky decided to call their child Riot Rose Mayers.
According to a birth certificate obtained by The Blast, baby Riot was born on August 1st at Cedar Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles.
Rihanna gave birth to her second child at 7. 41 a.m.
Many believe her second child’s name is a nod to her partner A$AP Rocky’s song ‘Riot’ which was released earlier in 2023.
The singer is also a mum to a son named RZA Athelston Mayers. She welcomed her first child in the summer of 2022.
The names may be unique, but if anyone is cool enough to get away with them then it’s Rihanna.
The singer has often been praised for being so honest about motherhood.
She previously told British Vogue:
“I feel like society makes me want to feel like, ‘Oh, you got it wrong…’ They diminish you as a mother if there’s not a dad in your kids’ lives. But the only thing that matters is happiness, that’s the only healthy relationship between a parent and a child.”
