Netflix has finally announced the storyline for season 3 of Bridgerton.
And fans are bound to be delighted over the latest update.
The streaming service confirmed season 3 will focus on Penelope Fetherington and Colin Bridgerton.
Polin fans will be delighted to hear the potential lovebirds will step into the spotlight in season 3.
Leading lady Nicola Coughlan announced that Season 3 of the regency romance will focus on the relationship between her own Penelope Feathington and Penelope’s long-standing crush, Colin Bridgerton (Luke Newton).
This is an exciting shakeup from Bridgerton’s inspiration, Julia Quinn’s books of the same name; Penelope and Colin’s love story is told in the fourth book, Romancing Mister Bridgerton, rather than the third.

Irish actress Nicola Coughlan said she cannot wait to step into the lead role's shoes.
"I feel like if you see Penelope fawning over this boy for another season, you’ll be like, ‘Get it together! Come on, move on and get over it'."
"I think people are going to be really obsessed. I think book fans are going to be happy.”
Luke Newton, who plays Colin, said he cannot wait to start filming.
"I love Polin. There's so much love for that relationship."
Newton said he feels pressured because people love Polin so much.
This upcoming storyline will be Bridgerton’s first foray into the friends-to-lovers trope.
Newton said he hopes to show more of Colin's "sensitive side" this season.
Season 3 may not air until next year, but we certainly cannot wait to see Polin's love story unfold on screen.
For now, we'll have to re-watch seasons 1 and 2 over and over again.
