Stacey Solomon’s son Rex has started primary school.
Many of us have had tearful mornings this week as our youngest kids head off to school for the first time. It’s hard to wrap your head around this new chapter, and Stacey Solomon is going through those emotions too.
Her youngest son Rex has started school this week and she can’t quite believe it.
The mum posted photos of her son Rex and older son Leighton in their uniforms on Instagram and Rex looks so grown up.
Alongside the photo, Stacey said: “Time is a thief. And Just Like That A Whole new adventure begins, and an old era ends.”
“My darling boys, as you go out into a whole new world, Primary and secondary school I hope you remember that you are strong, kind, intelligent, caring, young men with all of the love here at home you will ever need.”

Stacey shared advice with her two boys in the emotional post and encouraged them to make the most of every moment because this chapter will fly by too.
She said. “Be yourselves, don’t change for anyone. Stay true to who you are and enjoy those first days, because take it from mum who knows, you’ll blink and it’ll be the last days.
“Good luck and have so much fun. To the moon and back Rex & Leighton. We love you.”
Stacey also took the time to share some kind words with parents and guardians going through the same emotions.
“P.S a huge hug to every parent or carer out there not finding days like this easy for many different reasons. I’m with you. My heart is aching,” she admitted.
