Tana Ramsay has opened up about the heartbreak over losing her stillborn son Rocky
The mum opened up about the harrowing passing of her son on Giovanna Fletcher’s Happy Mum, Happy Baby podcast.
She said losing Rocky in 2016 was one of the hardest moments of her life.
She told Giovanna that her baby boy was perfect.
“He was just the most perfect little boy.
“And I think that’s the thing is that you don’t know what to expect. But it’s like this tiny, tiny little doll,” Tana said.
Tana had to deliver her stillborn son at 20 weeks, but her husband Gordon Ramsay was there for her during the heartache.
She added: “It was really hard. It’s that feeling of emptiness. And then the next morning you’re leaving the hospital and you haven’t got a baby.”
Gordon wasn’t at the birth of their first three children, but he was there for the following births.
Tana believes losing Rocky changed things for Gordon.
“I had my mum which was really nice. But then for the for the other two, he was there. I don’t know what changed.
“It’s just he wanted to be there. I felt it would be nice. And I think it was after what we went through with losing Rocky, our little boy,” the mum shared.
The mum said it didn’t bother her that he wasn’t there for her first three deliveries.
“He’d have gone all squeamish and probably fainted, and all the attention would have been on him. I was like, no, this is my moment. So, it didn’t ever really bother me,” she said.
