Tyson Fury has seven children with his wife Paris.

Tyson Fury has revealed the reason why he missed the birth of his seventh child.

The dad-of-seven sadly wasn’t there when his and Paris Fury’s baby boy was born in September, but he had to work.

He told Good Morning Britain that he had to focus on his training.

“Daddy’s got to do what daddy’s got to do. Bills have to be paid and things have to be sacrificed.

“Paris understands that when I’m in camp I can’t be there all night at the hospital.

He added, “But I got to see him in the early hours of the morning after he was born, so that was fantastic.

Paris was in good hands when Tyson was away and had her mother with her when she gave birth.

The mum-of-seven said she understands how important his career is.

She told OK! “He’s usually there by my side, but he had to bail out on me because he’s fully immersed in training.”

“He was there until a few hours before Rico was born,” Paris stressed.

Paris gave birth to baby Prince Rico Paris in September. Speaking about the meaning behind his unique name, Paris said she wanted to honour herself.

She told OK: “All of my kids have got unusual names and obviously it’s also really personal to Tyson.”

“We also added my name because I’ve had seven kids and I still haven’t had one named after me, so Tyson thought, ‘Come on, it’s about time!’”
