We finally have the date for the new season of Room To Improve

Olivia Hayes

Buzzing.

Room To Improve means it’s time to say goodbye to summer and time to say hello to putting on fluffy socks and drinking huge cups of tea.

Summer is officially over when Room To Improve is back on our screens – and we’re not complaining.

There’s nothing more amusing than seeing Dermot Bannon bash a house down to the ground, only to build it back up again with numerous windows and gaudy light fixtures – and when he gets into an argument over different hues of grey, you know you’re in for a dramatic episode.

Well, the architect is coming back to our screens very soon so you better mark your calendars.

Dermot took to Instagram to share the news that Room To Improve will be back on our screens on September 8.

Posting a picture of one of the new builds, Dermot captioned the post: “#sneakpeak #roomtoimprove back in two weeks today!!! @rteone Bit of timber slatting going on.”

In a very special episode this season, Dermot will be redesigning his own home alongside quantity surveyor Patricia Power.

He revealed the news back in February but has since confirmed that his family will not be involved in the episode.
