Eastenders actress Melissa has announced that she's expecting a baby. The star got engaged three months ago and has now revealed to
The Sun that she's pregnant.
The 26-year-old said: "We're so excited to become parents.
"This next step is an adventure, and we’re looking forward to raising a happy, healthy, inquisitive, strong, and accepting child, and starting our own little family, as a trio!"
Her fiancée, David who is 37-years-old added: "I'm over the moon but nervous too!
"Melissa is so used to kids, and she’ll be an amazing mum instantly. There is nobody on earth I’d rather take on this challenge with, and I’m looking forward to every second of it."
Melissa is currently in her second trimester and will give birth in mid-March 2020. She played Lucy Beale on Eastenders from age 11, appearing on the soap between 2004 and 2010.
