Gardaí launch investigation after serious assault on a woman in Dublin
The attack occurred on the evening of March 18th.
A Garda investigation is now underway after a serious attack in Blanchardstown.
A woman was seriously assaulted in a wooded area in Dublin 15.
It is believed the victim is aged in her early 30s.
Gardaí confirmed she suffered serious injuries, but details have not yet been disclosed.
The attack took place on the evening of March 18th, 2022.
A number of pedestrians were reportedly in the area during the attack.
Gardaí have asked anyone with information to come forward.
They have also urged witnesses who were in the area at the time of the assault to contact them.

The news comes after another woman was attacked in Drogheda.
Earlier this week, a woman was attacked during a morning walk.
She was not physically harmed but is extremely shaken after the assault.
A Gardaí investigation is underway, but no arrests have been made.
They stressed that investigations are ongoing.
Women have spoken out after both incidents and stressed that our streets need to be safer.
