GLORIOUS News…This Is The Time Scientists Say We Should Start Work

Amanda Cassidy

10am.

That is the sweet, sweet time sleep researchers say work should start.

Researchers from Oxford university found that our natural circadian rhythms (the biological sleep pattern we are born with) are not in line with the demands of a nine-to-five job.

As we get older, these rhythms change explaining why your parents and grandparents are able to hop out of bed before 8am.

They believe our sleep-deprived society isn’t functioning in line with our biology, especially as the majority of the workforce is between the age of 18-34 years old.

Sleep scientists at the Pew Center for Sleep want us to wake up later and start working later, and say it will be better for our health.

Such relentless sleep deprivation is actually really bad for your body, leading to increased risk of depression, obesity and stress.

Tell THAT to your boss the next time you are running late.
