Go, go, go! Aldi is selling kids’ uniforms for only €5

Olivia Hayes

It can be quite a pricey time.

With the summer holidays only beginning, it can be quite an expensive time for parents.

Between summer camps, extra curricular activities and days out, it’s safe to say the costs add up, however, if you want to get a kickstart on things for the upcoming school year (without breaking the bank) then Aldi is the place to do it.

The Aldi school uniform range, which goes on sale July 12, features great quality durable school trousers, pinafores, skirts, round-neck jumpers and polo shirts in a variety of colours at great value prices for school children from ages 3-11.

The €5 deal includes either a pair of trousers or a skirt, one round neck sweatshirt and two plain-pack polo shirts, making Aldi a one-stop shop for parents in need of new and fresh school uniforms.

Boys and Girls trousers are €2, while pleated skirts come in at only €2, too.

Aldi’s €5 school uniforms are machine washable, suitable for tumble drying and easy iron, while the trousers and skirts are also coated in Teflon to help resist stains and water.

Aldi’s primary school uniforms go on sale on Thursday, July 12 at Aldi’s 132 Irish stores.

The school uniforms are a one-off Aldi ‘Specialbuy’ and will be available while stocks last. There will be plenty of stock at each store to meet the anticipated high demand.
