If you’re staying in this Friday night, there are a number of viewing options available to you, including The Graham Norton Show.

The Cork native is back on screens this evening with a packed line-up, led by two of this year’s major Oscar hopefuls.

Ahead of the Academy Award nominations being unveiled next week, Brendan Fraser will be on the programme to discuss his transformative turn in The Whale.

Out in Irish cinemas on February 3rd, the movie has already seen Fraser receive the best reviews of his career and win a number of prestigious acting trophies.

Also on the show will be four-time Oscar nominee Michelle Williams talking about her role in The Fabelmans, Steven Spielberg’s critically acclaimed, semi-autobiographical coming-of-age film which gets an Irish cinema release on January 27th.

Meanwhile, legendary actress Helena Bonham Carter (Fight Club, The King’s Speech) and lauded writer Russell T Davies (Doctor Who, It’s a Sin) will chat about their collaboration on the new three-part series Nolly that premieres on 2 February on ITVX.

As well as these guests, Strictly Come Dancing’s Oti Mabuse will discuss switching contests to Dancing on Ice.

Then, in terms of music, singer-songwriter Cat Burns will perform her single ‘People Pleaser’.
