Here’s the mutual friend everyone reckons introduced Meghan and Harry

She's well-connected with the royal family.

Yesterday, we learned that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle met on a blind date.

In their interview with the BBC to mark their engagement the couple said they’d been set up by a mutual friend, but didn’t reveal who.

After some digging, however, we reckon there’s a good chance it was Misha Nonoo.

Misha, a British fashion designer, is a close friend of Meghan’s, having met at an event in Miami a number of years ago.

“I love her to death. She is the coolest girl in the world,” Misha told the Evening Standard

“We were seated next to one another at a lunch and we got along like a house on fire.”

“She has the most remarkable and generous spirit. I aspire to be as philanthropic as she is and to have as much of an impact as her.”

Misha separated from her husband Alexander Gilkes, who went to school at Eton with William and Harry, late last year.

Misha and Alexander were guests at the wedding of William and Kate in 2011 and Pippa Middleton dated Alexander’s younger brother Charlie for a number of years when she was younger, so it’s fair to say Misha is well-connected among the royals and their circle.

It’s thought that she was the person who brought her friend Meghan and her then-husband Alexander’s friend Harry together.

Interestingly, Meghan chose to wear a piece by Misha for her first ever public outing with Harry.

The white ‘Husband’ shirt the actress was seen in at the Invictus Games in Toronto in September was designed by her friend.

Does this mean Misha will be called upon to design the royal wedding gown? We’ll have to wait and see.
