The paper has a strip built in (similar to a pregnancy test) and if it signals that the person urinating is in fact pregnant, the strip will reveal a discount code for you to use.
According to The Metro, Ikea have been working with Mercene Labs to come up with the advert and had to make ‘several technical advancements’ in order to make the coupon work.
Currently, the coupon is only available to Swedish moms as it is coming free inside Swedish magazine for women Amelia. And to receive the coupon not only must you reveal the code with pee, you must bring the pis*y piece of paper into the store with you. I'm not sure about you but for that embarrassment and effort I'd be looking for one serious discount please. No kidding: Ikea’s latest marketing stunt acts as a pregnancy test and will give out coupons to positive tests: https://t.co/MjuUiR9VR7 pic.twitter.com/elwBeCAztV
