“Every time I re-watch this I get more mad at him.”

To be fair, I am stunned that people are still doing gender reveals? Are they not all a bit pathetic at this stage?

Anywho – the fact is that some people are still into this trend, and love nothing more than sharing the moment they find out to social media.

This is what went down when expectant mum Hannah Calverley took to TikTok to share her gender reveal – and what happened next.

To be fair, it’s not so much the reveal itself that’s made it go viral, but it’s the response of the father-to-be and his teammates.

Sharing the video with the caption, “We’re sooo ready to meet you,” the now-viral clip shows the 18-year-old mum-to-be pitching a ball at her boyfriend, Travis Gober, who plays baseball for the University of New Orleans.

Gober hits the ball releasing a flurry of blue pigment into the air and the couple appears to be excited.

Calverley puts her hands to her face with excitement and starts running towards her boyfriend – no doubt hoping for a celebratory hug.

However, things take a rather different turn when Gober’s entire baseball team rushes the field, chanting and jumping around the expectant father, while Calverly is left skirting the outside of the huddle.

“Doesn’t sit right with me”

The video instantly went viral and attracted thousands of comments – with many viewers pointing out just how strange it all was that Gober seemed more excited to celebrate with his teammates than his baby mama.

“Don’t forget to hug the momma,” one person commented.

Another one added, “Doesn’t sit right with me.”

And a third one added:

“Poor baby girl. My heart became so sad when they pushed you out of the way.”

Many pointed out they would have been furious, and pointed out that this is a big red flag and says a lot about their future together.

And one person admitted, “Every time I re-watch this I get more mad at him.”

What do YOU think? Would this have bothered you? Did you even have a gender reveal?
