Ireland's first Lego store in Dublin announce that it will be opening next month

There has been much excitement since Lego first announced that it would be opening one of its large Lego stores in Dublin this year.

If like me you're being constantly asked by your child 'when is it opening?' on repeat I've some good news as Lego have just announced that it will be opening next month!

The new Lego store is set to open in Dublin next month on Thursday, 18 August.

The Lego store will be located at 41 Grafton Street in Dublin city centre.

Visitors to the new store will be able to experience fun Lego interactions both physical and through digital experiences.

Lego fans will also be able to create personalised products, perfect for birthday and holidays like Christmas.

Dublin’s iconic Poolbeg Towers have been recreated with Lego ahead of the opening of Ireland’s first ever store and those who spot them are encouraged to snap a picture as they could win some amazing prizes.

The first 2,000 people to take a photo of the towers and use the #LEGOStoreDublin will receive a free limited edition ‘I <3 LEGO Store Dublin’ tile which they can claim when the store opens.

Previously announced features of the store are set to include:

Minifigure Factory: This allows visitors to design and create a unique Lego Minifigure

Lego Expression: Visitors can have fun with Lego Minifigures that mimic their facial expressions

Lego Pick a Brick Wall: This is a way for Lego fans to select the exact elements that they require for their builds

Exclusive Lego Models: These are eye-catching 3D Lego models throughout the store inspired by the city of Dublin and Irish culture
