It’s exactly what no bride wants to hear.
Future brides could be left without a dress for their big day as Florida based bridal chain Alfred Angelo, filed for bankruptcy on Friday.
The brand which first rose to popularity in 2015 due to its fairy-tale inspired bridal gowns began closing many of its stores before the actual filing.
With retailers having closed their doors all over the United States and the UK, anyone who has ordered a dress will likely be left without.
Although there is no Alfred Angelo bridal shop here in Ireland, many brides make their big purchase online, ordering from the UK or else buying from various boutiques around the country that happen to stock the brand.
If anyone has ordered an Alfred Angelo gown from an Irish boutique – the boutique might struggle, through no fault of their own, to get the dress or to get it to the buyer on time.
With so many hearing of the news as it broke online, understandably brides-to-be were left absolutely furious over what happened.
How dare #alfredangelo ruin so many brides lives today! I hope all the attorneys in the world gang up on them and kick their asses!

I’m pretty sure a company doesn’t find out they’re bankrupt overnight. #alfredangelo is also morally bankrupt not giving brides a heads up!

The general tone of the agitated clients on Twitter was anger and worry – especially if their big day is fast approaching.
I’ve had the shock, the tears and now I’m just pissed. Heartbroken doesn’t cover it, hope I find a better dress. ?#alfredangelo

To shed some light on a terrible scenario, many Twitter users in the US began offering those desperately in need of a dress their very own for the upcoming celebrations.
