Irish presenter Sile Seoige has announced she’s pregnant with her first child

Sile Seoige says she is "over the moon" to announce her pregnancy. It is her first child with boyfriend, Daniel O'Farrell who she has been dating for the past two years. The former radio presenter says she is around four months along. She revealed the news at The Clearbraces.ie smile awards today.

"I have happy news, I'm expecting - I'm over the moon and feel very lucky"

Just two weeks ago, the Galway native, posted a 'grateful' image on her Instagram expressing her happiness at being five years in the clear from her cancer diagnoses. The 37-year-old was diagnosed with thyroid cancer in 2012. Sile recently admitted she was in a “dark place” a few years ago when her show ended on Newstalk and her relationship broke down. Speaking to the Independent, she said she found a new way to cope:

“Yoga has helped me rebuild, reform, and ultimately to transform my life for the better. I feel grounded, more rooted and connected than I’ve ever been"
